CatLABS first ever vinyl pressing!

Kobayashi Porcelain, the funny and funky sounding Groove Nonsense five piece from the holy city, has had many incarnations since forming around 1997.

From a full live band Geek-Funk Cabaret, to the Sachs bros' Electro duo rendition (confusingly named Koobiya Shell Porcelain), the band has always kept the core of its inspiration, 70s funk, kids TV shows and local sounds of the Middle East deep in its sound, whether sampled or recreated live.

In this mini album, written and recorded years after the band went its literal separate ways, the band members arranged the parts through online Zoom sessions and recorded remotely, from East Germany through West Jerusalem and downtown Tel Aviv.
